The location on the map can change from game to game, and it’s important to note that some biomes won’t yield ingredients through capturing; instead, you’ll need to find them by looting.

Click the ‘Q’ key to launch the map. Unoccupied flags appear in shades of gray, hostile ones are red, while those under your control shine bright blue. As you capture more flags, you’ll receive additional supplies of soup and crafting materials.

Gnomes: Another Way to Farm Ingredients

If you’re running low on resources for crafting or spellbooks, consider visiting the enchanting and quirky domain known as the Gnome Forest, inhabited by diminutive beings who have a unique sense of style.

Place any object close to the gnome (by pressing G), and they may return something to you, often it’s your item but stickier. Occasionally, it could be a torn spell page, or in my case, I got Blink after throwing a mushroom, but a rock when I tried a sword. It can be frustrating at times, but occasionally you’ll find useful ingredients.

Hint: Gnomes have quite an appetite! If you find yourself with an abundance of mushrooms or stones, consider sharing them with the gnomes as they might reward you with uncommon treasures.
