HBO is releasing this week’s episode of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms ahead of schedule so viewers can watch it before the Super Bowl.
The latest episode of the show will premiere on HBO this Sunday, February 8th, at 10pm as usual. However, it will also be available to stream starting Friday, February 6th, at 12:01am Pacific Time.
Fans of the show will be happy to hear that more episodes are coming, especially after the major reveal in episode 3 that answered a long-standing mystery.
A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is the third book series in the world of A Song of Ice and Fire, and it’s adapted from the stories originally published as Tales of Dunk and Egg.
Taking place a century before the events of Game of Thrones and 72 years after House of the Dragon, this six-episode series centers on Dunk and his clever assistant, Egg, as they embark on a journey across the Seven Kingdoms.
As a huge football fan, I’m already getting excited for Super Bowl 60! It’s going to be the New England Patriots versus the Seattle Seahawks battling it out for the Lombardi Trophy at Levi’s Stadium this Sunday. You can catch all the action on NBC and Peacock, so I’ve already marked my calendar!

Season two of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is currently being filmed and is expected to be released sometime before the end of next year.
Despite George RR Martin having written only three Dunk and Egg stories so far, there’s a good chance we’ll see more seasons of the show in the future.
Ira Parker, the showrunner, recently shared that the author provided twelve outlines which will be used to develop future seasons of the show.
He explained that the benefit of knowing the ending is having a clear sense of where the story is going. While the details might be less rigid than they are currently, they’d never have to invent plot points – they’d always have a general direction to follow.
A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is available to watch on Sky Atlantic and NOW.
