
Exciting news for the upcoming Minecraft Movie sequel! Kirsten Dunst, known for her role in Spider-Man, has joined the cast – her first major new role since then.

Currently, we don’t know what character Kirsten Dunst will play, but she’s joining returning cast members from A Minecraft Movie like Jason Momoa, Jack Black, Danielle Brooks, Matt Berry, and Jennifer Coolidge. Jared Hess is returning as director, and Chris Galletta wrote the script for the sequel.
Kirsten Dunst is a familiar face to many, especially Marvel fans who remember her as Mary Jane in the Spider-Man movies directed by Sam Raimi. She recently appeared alongside Channing Tatum in Roofman and was part of the cast of Alex Garland’s action-packed thriller, Civil War. Dunst also received an Oscar nomination for her performance in the Netflix Western The Power of the Dog. She’s also slated to star with Keanu Reeves in an upcoming black comedy called The Entertainment System Is Down, directed by Ruben Östlund.
