Sukuna, the main villain in Jujutsu Kaisen, is one of the most memorable characters in the series. He consistently proved himself as the most powerful sorcerer, easily defeating all opponents. Even years later, as shown in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, the world continues to suffer the consequences of his terrible deeds.
Given how powerful Sukuna was, many fans believed he was the strongest villain in Jujutsu Kaisen. But recent developments in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo suggest a new villain has emerged who is just as formidable, and potentially even more dangerous.
Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Delivers The Franchise’s Biggest Villain Yet

So far, the most dangerous opponent the human characters in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo have faced is Dabura, a powerful warrior from the Simurian race. He’s considered a last resort weapon if a war were to happen. However, Dabura is surprisingly kind, making it uncertain if he’d ever actually need to use his strength.
A striking moment occurred in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo chapter 13: when an attacker shot Cross, Dabura reacted with incredible speed, instantly tearing off the attacker’s arm. He then easily shrugged off Usami’s cursed speech and, with the resulting force, severely injured Usami—a display of power previously only seen from Sukuna.
Dabura is significantly more powerful than most sorcerers – one even preferred death to facing him in battle. Considering that Yuji Itadori, currently the strongest sorcerer alive, is seen as the only one capable of handling Dabura, he poses a threat on par with Sukuna and is shaping up to be one of the biggest villains in Jujutsu Kaisen so far.
Why Jujutsu Kaisen’s New Villain Is Even Bigger Than Sukuna

Dabura is a tremendously dangerous opponent, potentially even more so than Sukuna. While Sukuna was incredibly powerful, sorcerers were able to combine their strengths and gradually weaken him, though it came at a great cost. It remains to be seen if that will be possible with Dabura.
Sorcerers today aren’t as powerful as they were in Gojo’s time, and to make things worse, Yuji, currently the strongest, is intentionally distancing himself from the jujutsu world. This leaves them without a dependable fighter to face Dabura. Right now, the heroes are less ready to fight Dabura than they were for Sukuna, which could make this battle even more difficult.
Things have been steadily getting more intense in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, and presenting Dabura as a villain on par with Sukuna really highlights that increasing tension. We don’t know how the battle with Dabura in Modulo will unfold, but it has the potential to be the most significant fight in Jujutsu Kaisen yet, which would be fantastic to witness.
