Add Sapporo Beer’s Iconic Logo to Atsu’s Arsenal in Ghost of Yotei

Over the coming weeks, I, as a dedicated fan, can’t wait to grab specially labeled bottles of Sapporo Beer in the USA. Doing so will give me an exciting bonus – an extra item for my beloved character Atsu in the Ghost of Yotei!

In an apt collaboration, Sony has sponsored the labeling of Sapporo beer’s packaging to promote a newly released game from Sucker Punch. Notably, this game is set in the northern Hokkaido region of Japan, where Sapporo originates.

In the game, a reward titled ‘The Charm of Hokkyokusei’ showcases the well-known star emblem from Sapporo.

The term Hokkyokusei symbolically represents the North Star. This nickname originated because the company’s first master brewer is believed to have navigated towards Germany, guided by the North Star, to learn the craft of brewing beer there.

As a passionate gamer, I can relate to the captivating narratives of Sapporo’s original brewmaster and the protagonist in Ghost of Yotei. Both characters defy expectations, embark on journeys of discovery, and express their unique artistry to reshape their destinies, as emphasized by Sapporo’s Zach Keeling.

We’re sharing compelling narratives about Japan, its captivating past, and the connections they make within us. Our collaboration is designed to bridge gaps and foster a deeper understanding of Japan among fans.

During its initial stages of investigating for the game, it’s been reported that Sucker Punch enjoyed quite a few glasses of Sapporo Beer in Hokkaido.

In case your travels lead you to Sapporo, we strongly suggest a visit to the Sapporo Beer Museum. Not only is it free to enter, but it’s also quite engaging. To top off your experience, you can end your journey with a delightful assortment of samplers showcasing various flavors that Sapporo has offered throughout the years.
