Addison Rae is keeping her headphones on when it comes to public opinion.
The artist, a first-time Grammy nominee for Best New Artist at the 2026 ceremony hosted by Trevor Noah, immediately knew which misunderstanding about herself she wanted to address with her fans.
She admitted to Zuri Hall during an interview at the Grammys event in Los Angeles on February 1st that she prefers to keep her personal life private, saying, “Honestly, nothing. I wish they knew less.” You can see photos of all the stars on the red carpet here.
The artist known as “Diet Pepsi,” who is up for an award with Olivia Dean, Katseye, The Marías, Sombr, Leon Thomas, Alex Warren, and Lola Young, shared one interesting fact: just how much Diet Pepsi she actually drinks.
She admitted to drinking a lot of Diet Pepsi, saying it’s always stocked in her dressing rooms, and likely still there right now.
Oh my gosh, she looked absolutely incredible in that custom Alaïa dress! And can you believe she said if she wins a Grammy, she’s celebrating with a Diet Pepsi? It’s just…so her! I’m already picturing it – she’s going to win, and she’ll be perfectly, wonderfully herself, raising a Pepsi to the crowd. I’m so ready to celebrate with her!

Honestly, it’s been absolutely insane for her, the past year and a half! She said it’s been a total emotional rollercoaster, but seeing all of us tonight… she actually said it felt like a dream! She’s just so unbelievably lucky, and honestly, we’re the lucky ones to get to witness her shine.
As such, Addison is eager to keep up her career momentum.
I definitely try to pace myself, but I’m a very driven person. I have big dreams and lots of goals, and I feel like you only live once, so there’s not a lot of time to waste. Still, I’m really enjoying this moment and I’m so happy to be here.
