And they really marked the occasion with a major moment for Stewie and Lois – something fans like me have been anticipating for years. From the very beginning, Family Guy established this wild dynamic between those two. Remember how Stewie started out as this incredibly intelligent baby who was, honestly, trying to kill Lois? It’s crazy to think about now, but after a few seasons, their relationship just kept getting more and more complex.

Over its first 449 episodes, Family Guy explored a complex relationship between Stewie and Lois, with them experiencing love, hatred, and even simulated death at each other’s hands. However, episode 450 marked a turning point, allowing the mother and son to truly connect and have an honest conversation for the first time. It was clear she already knew, though – she’s just accepted things as they are, figuring Peter won’t live much longer anyway and she’ll be financially secure when he’s gone. They even talked about why Stewie originally tried to kill her, and surprisingly, Lois admitted she’d always felt a bit of distance between them.

Stewie Reveals Why He Wanted to Kill Lois

In the early days of Family Guy, Stewie’s desire to kill Lois was a key part of his personality. However, a recent take on this reveals a different motivation. He suggests he may have wanted to end her suffering, believing she was overly passive and easily taken advantage of. More importantly, he feared he might share the same weakness and tried to eliminate it in Lois before it consumed him.

Despite Stewie’s huge confession, Lois still loves him, and they seem to connect on a deeper level. However, they don’t remember any of the important conversation they had while under the influence of drugs. Once the effects wear off, it becomes clear that all the progress they made has been completely forgotten – it’s as if it never happened.
