Currently, I consider myself more of a popcorn enthusiast than a popcorn-bucket devotee. Still, I appreciate quality entertainment, and the innovative and outlandish designs in today’s movie industry never fail to impress me. It seems as though every significant film on the 2025 release calendar is attempting to outdo each other with their popcorn containers. Now, The Fantastic Four: First Steps has joined the fray with a colossal Galactus bucket that left me astonished once I saw it in action.
When I came across the video of that $80 (or $79.99) popcorn bucket, my immediate thought was “Wow, it’s enormous!” Although I knew it would be big since Marvel advertised it as “the largest popcorn container in the universe” while promoting The Fantastic Four: First Steps, it’s still astounding to fully grasp its size of 17.5 inches tall and 20 inches wide. To truly appreciate its scale, I suggest you check out @3cfilms’ TikTok video about it.

Just like the colossal villain Galactus from Marvel comics, this popcorn container is truly massive, and I’m not kidding about that size.
This is due to the fact that popcorn containers are quite spacious to start with. They generally accommodate a considerable amount of the cinema treat, and as someone who continues to utilize their Eras Tour bucket, I can attest that it can contain more than one large bag of microwave popcorn. Consequently, from the outset, I anticipated it would be extensive. However, not this expansive.

I wasn’t anticipating “The Naked Gun” to deserve a popcorn bucket, but I’m roaring with laughter at the clever nod that made it possible.
In this video, you can see that the bucket designed for the upcoming Marvel movie is exceptionally large – I’d say it could easily hold at least two more buckets of its size. Remarkably, it towered over the popcorn bucket for “Dune: Part Two,” which itself was no ordinary container.
Let me bring up a point regarding the horns as well. The bucket from AMC (and Cinemark) has these two large purple extensions that almost double its width. Without them, the bucket is 9.6 inches wide, but when they’re attached, it expands to a whopping 20 inches! It’s quite a handful; you’ll need both hands just to hold onto it. And if you’re trying to savor your popcorn from this bucket during the movie without disassembling it, there’s a chance you might accidentally poke your fellow moviegoers. Quite an interesting design, isn’t it?
Here’s another fun fact: It glows! That’s quite cool. (Remember to keep it off during the movie, save the glow for when you’re back home instead.)
Admittedly, given my stature, I suspect that attempting to retrieve popcorn from this container would necessitate stretching upwards and then inside, which seems quite challenging, if you ask me.

While it’s quite impressive, I can’t justify spending $80 on this item because my apartment is rather small and lacks the space for such a large item. Yet, I must admit, it’s quite remarkable and would make a fantastic addition to someone’s collection who appreciates unique popcorn buckets that stand out from the rest.
If you’re eager to embark on your first adventure with the revamped Fantastic Four, accompanied by Galactus, grab a ticket for the movie “First Steps” in theaters from July 25 onwards.
