The second season of Ahsoka has been pushed back, meaning fans will have to wait until 2026 to see what happens next in the Star Wars story. The character Ahsoka Tano, originally voiced by Ashley Eckstein, first appeared in live-action in The Mandalorian and then starred in her own series. Now played by Rosario Dawson, Ahsoka is a key figure in the interconnected stories of The Mandalorian universe. The first season brought back the villain Grand Admiral Thrawn and ended with Ahsoka and Sabine Wren (played by Natasha Liu Bordizzo) stranded on a remote planet outside the galaxy.
Rosario Dawson announced at a Disney event that the second season of Ahsoka won’t be released until 2027. Disney and Lucasfilm also shared a preview reel and behind-the-scenes photos with the press. According to StarWars.com, Dawson said the new season will feature larger battles and higher stakes, and she expressed excitement for fans to see it. This delay means 2026 will be the first year since 2019 without a new live-action Star Wars TV show.
