Aidan Zingg’s Sister Seemingly Pays Tribute After Motocross Star’s Death

Aidan Zingg’s sister, it appears, posted an emotional online tribute that seems to reflect on his passing at the age of 16.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I proudly shared an Instagram carousel last Sunday, June 29th, showcasing my moments with Aidan, along with some heartwarming snaps of him in his motocross attire, spending quality time with his loved ones.

It is said that Aidan met with tragedy on June 28th, Saturday, as a result of an accident that took place during a race he was participating in at the 2025 Mammoth Motocross competition held in Mammoth Lakes, California.

Alexandria’s Instagram post expressed her deep affection for Aidan in a heartfelt message. “I could express so much, recount countless moments. Just one day feels like an eternity. My heart is shattered,” she penned. “You used to tease me about my age and that I’d pass away before you, I would retort that you were being absurd and it would be the other way around. Now, I find myself yearning for the day when you were right, so I wouldn’t have to spend a single moment without you.

The post went on, ‘I’m completely clueless about what lies ahead, whether it’s today, tomorrow, or the rest of my life without you by my side. I had everything mapped out. However, God seems to have other plans. I’ll always miss that last embrace, that final ‘I love you,’ which I never received. You are a beacon. The brilliance that brings color to every aspect of my world.’

On Saturday, motocross journalist Donn Maeda shared news of an incident involving Aidan through a social media post. His message read, “I’ve been informed that he sustained fatal injuries at Mammoth MX today.” My sympathies are with the Zingg family, I can hardly imagine their pain. May you find peace, friend. 🙏🏼.

Journalist Donn Maeda shared on social media about Aidan’s accident on Saturday. He wrote, “I’ve been told that he had a fatal accident at Mammoth MX today.” I feel so sad for the Zingg family, it must be unbearable for them. Rest in peace, buddy. 🙏🏼.

DirtbikeLover motorcycle retailer reported that racer Aiden crashed in a turn, was allegedly hit by several bikes following the accident, and lay unresponsive on the track for two laps before the race was halted with a red flag. According to Dirt Bikes 101, a red flag means all drivers must slow down and proceed cautiously towards the staging or pit area.

No specific reason for the death has been disclosed yet, and we’ve contacted the Mammoth Lakes Police Department to get a statement on the matter.

Alexandria’s Instagram tribute expressed her ongoing connection with Aidan: “You’ll always be with me in everything I do. Each time I enter the show pen, it’s for you,” she penned. “I’ll double my efforts, strive to be twice as excellent, and shine even brighter, though nothing can replace the void you left, I’ll try my best to carry on from where you stopped.

Her message ended with, “I have a thousand more thoughts to share with you, but I’ll keep them for my prayers. My affection for you is beyond words. Soar high, but remember not to stray too far. I adore you deeply. #RideForAidan #AidansZing #RideForAidan39.
