Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson “Banged Up” After Car Wreck

Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompsonis on the mend.

Reality TV star Alana Thompson, known from *Here Comes Honey Boo Boo*, is recovering from a car accident. Her mother, June Shannon (known as “Mama June”), said another car hit Alana’s car on the driver’s side while she was on her way to a hair appointment.

Oh my gosh, you guys, I just saw Mama June’s post! She said Honey Boo Boo is home and resting! Apparently, something happened, but Mama June said it *could* have been so much worse. She’s a little beat up, but thankfully, she’s okay! I’m seriously breathing a sigh of relief right now. I’ve been so worried!

The 46-year-old woman also talked about the pain her daughter is feeling after leaving the hospital. Her daughter is currently studying to be a nurse at Regis University in Denver.

Mama June said her daughter is experiencing back pain and headaches. They’re traveling to Denver to help her get a rental car and get settled.

The family’s elder woman, who lives in Gray, Georgia, with her husband Thomas Stroud, said, “That’s the hardest part about living so far away.”

Mama June said she’ll share more information as soon as she understands what’s happening, and asked everyone to keep her daughter Alana in their thoughts while they work through this difficult time.

Alana, known from the TLC show with Mama June Shannon and her sisters Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell, Jessica “Chubbs” Shannon, and Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon, hasn’t publicly commented on the recent car accident. However, she has been sharing her enthusiasm for nursing on social media, and recently explained how her studies are influencing wedding plans with her boyfriend, Dralin Carswell.

The twenty-year-old said in May that it likely wouldn’t happen until after school, explaining that weddings are costly and require a lot of effort.

Despite getting together in September 2021, the former star of *Toddlers & Tiaras* and her boyfriend aren’t planning a wedding at the moment, but she believes it will happen someday.

As for whether Alana wants to have little pageant queens of her own?

She said she’d like to have children someday, probably just two, but not right away.
