Alex Rodriguez knocked it out the park during his latest night out with his daughters.
Former baseball player Alex Rodriguez stepped out on the red carpet with his daughters, Natasha, 20, and Ella, 17, at the New York City premiere of his documentary, Alex Vs. ARod, on November 3rd. He shares his daughters with Cynthia Scurtis.
Alex beamed as he posed with his daughters, his girlfriend Jaclyn Cordeiro, and his mother Lourdes Rodriguez. Natasha looked lovely in a black leather halter dress and a neat updo, complementing her father’s relaxed black suit. Ella also turned heads in a stylish blue skirt set.
Although he was with his daughters at the premiere, Alex Rodriguez has said that balancing time with Natasha, who’s a student at the University of Michigan, and his high schooler Ella adds another layer of challenge to his life.
As a lifestyle expert, I’m always thrilled when my kids and I can finally connect and spend quality time together – even something as simple as a nice dinner feels special given how busy everyone is! But honestly, the most rewarding part of being a parent is watching them grow into confident, purposeful individuals, and seeing them actively work towards achieving their dreams. It’s just incredibly fulfilling.
He explained that he feels a particularly strong and somewhat frightening connection with daughters. He admitted that if he had a son, he’d likely encourage him to be independent and take risks, but with daughters, he feels a much stronger need to be protective.
As for his approach to parenting Natasha and Ella now that they’re embracing their latest chapters?
He described his relationship with his children as mostly filled with love and fun, but also admitting to being a bit strict. He believes his kids have a healthy respect for him and want to meet his expectations, perhaps even being a little afraid of letting him down.
