Alexandra Madison Shares Glimpse Into Pregnancy After Stillbirth

Alexandra Madison is getting ready to meet the apple of her eye.

Reflecting on her bittersweet pregnancy experience, exactly a year since the stillbirth of their son, the TikToker looks forward to the arrival of her and husband John Bouffard’s baby girl this fall.

In a unique interview with TopMob News, Alexandra shared that her pregnancy after a loss has been a complex journey filled with emotions such as excitement, fear, uncertainty, and hope. She explained that the most challenging aspect in these recent weeks has been the hesitation and cautious optimism they felt, leading them to wait until the last possible moment to make decisions.

Now we’ve reached the final stretch, so to speak. We’re putting all our efforts into preparing everything simultaneously – from setting up the nursery, to ensuring that we are fully prepared for her arrival.

At age 33, she confessed that even though she married Jon (age 38) back in 2019, she was still mentally prepared for hardship following her unfortunate miscarriage in June 2024, which occurred at the 26-week stage of pregnancy.

She noted that it’s challenging because a part of her mind is cautioning her not to be overly optimistic or eager. After experiencing loss, she understands the harsh reality that there are no promises, yet she still desires to experience some excitement. It’s a constant tug-of-war between getting excited and preparing oneself, but not excessively so.

Alexandra, known for her popularity on social media due to her humorous husband-and-wife skits alongside Jon, expressed her readiness for the arrival of their daughter as it would allow her to finally let out a deep sigh of relief.

As their daughter is born around the time when the leaves begin to change color, the delighted couple are eagerly anticipating experiencing the autumn season for the first time as new parents.

She enthusiastically shared, “We can’t wait to wrap up warm, get our coffees, visit a pumpkin patch, take some photos, enjoy the autumn scenery with leaves falling, and perhaps share a sweet moment by kissing her feet. That’s what we are eagerly anticipating this season.

Despite Alexandra and Jon intending to visit a pumpkin patch with their child this year, she made it clear that they will not be picking or altering any pumpkins.

Instead, let me rephrase it for you in a more natural and easy-to-understand manner: This year, the content creator has joined forces with Sonic Drive-In to introduce their new salted caramel toffee iced coffee, providing a welcome break from pumpkin spice drinks during this season.

Alexandra shared, “I’ve adored pumpkin-spiced items throughout my life, but walking into a store can sometimes feel excessive. Everything – from hand washes to creams, crackers to biscuits, coffees to candies – seems to be infused with pumpkin flavor. It all feels a bit overwhelming. When Sonic introduced their latest autumn flavor, I thought, ‘At last!’

She noted that she and Jon were thrilled when the fast-food restaurant unveiled their cold brew coffee with salted caramel and toffee layers, completed with cold foam and salted toffee bits, as it was part of an effort to replace the usual pumpkin seasonal offerings.

She playfully commented, “This idea is wonderful since pumpkins truly need some respite after all they’ve endured. It’s time for us to explore a wider range of autumn flavors. We can hardly wait to collaborate with them in unveiling this fresh flavor – it will not only delight us but also give a well-deserved break to the pumpkins.
