Alix Earle Thought She Was Being Kidnapped During Cringey First Date

Okay, so, I’ve been following Sophia Bush, and after she admitted being totally scared about even going on a first date after everything with Braxton Berrios, she finally talked about the date itself… and honestly? It sounded awful. She was actually ‘frightened’ to even share what happened online, which just makes me so worried about her! I’m just glad she finally opened up, even if it wasn’t a good experience.

In a TikTok posted on April 8th, Alix shared a story about a recent date with someone she met through Instagram. The date started off awkwardly when he arrived half an hour late and immediately asked to stop at Starbucks. They then began driving towards Malibu, where he had made dinner reservations for four hours later. Alix became increasingly uneasy when she realized they had driven past Malibu.

In a video, she explained that she felt they were drifting apart and asked him where he was headed. He simply replied that he didn’t have a destination in mind and was just driving.

You know, when you’re on a date with someone you don’t really know, it’s easy for your imagination to run wild! I totally get that feeling of unease. I was chatting with a friend the other day, and she admitted that when she felt awkward with a new date, her first thought was actually, ‘Oh my gosh, am I being kidnapped?!’ It’s funny how quickly things can jump to the extreme, but honestly, it’s a pretty relatable feeling!

She remembered thinking they should go back, explaining that she suddenly felt very frightened.

She recounted a moment during the date when she was so frightened she felt faint, genuinely believing she was about to be kidnapped.

Unfortunately, Alix’s date changed plans and drove to a beach. Instead of taking a walk like he’d initially suggested, they sat and talked on the rocks for a while before going to the restaurant.

The TikToker mentioned that after not being able to get into the restaurant right away, her date asked her something she didn’t expect.

She said he suddenly asked her, ‘Do you have an OnlyFans account?’ She was shocked and responded, ‘What?’ She clarified that she wasn’t offended by the question, but pointed out she had just explained what she’d been doing for the last three hours.

Even though their conversation was a little uncomfortable, Alix and her date managed to grab a quick dinner at a sushi restaurant. However, they had one last problem on the way home.

She explained that he kept accelerating quickly in the car. They had coffees from Starbucks in the car, and hers ended up spilling on her white dress.

Okay, so Alix – you guys, she went on a date with Tom Brady in January! – she was trying to set the record straight, saying it was a really nice date and she definitely wasn’t trying to be mean to him. But honestly? She’s just not into guys who can’t plan a good date. I mean, she deserves someone who puts in the effort, and she basically said she’s not settling for anything less! It’s so refreshing to see her stand up for herself, honestly. I’m totally team Alix on this one.

“I refuse to go through that experience again,” she stated. “From now on, if you want to take me somewhere, I need a complete plan – every detail from beginning to end.”

After seeing a particularly bad first date shared online, Starbucks playfully commented, “We’ve seen a lot of first dates, but wow!”

Meanwhile, Dunkin quipped, “Please tell him to call us next time he tries to plan a date.”

Now that Alix is looking for a new partner, let’s revisit her relationship with Braxton.

After months of rumors about their relationship, Alix Earle and Braxton Berrios officially appeared as a couple at the 2023 ESPYS in July.
