Gaming trilogies offer great value, particularly when they’re on sale. Series like Mass Effect give you long, multi-part stories you can play straight through or enjoy over time. This deal offers a significant discount on one of gaming’s most overlooked trilogies. The Metro Saga Bundle includes all three main games, plus all downloadable content and bonus extras, giving you tons of gameplay.
You can get the Metro Saga Bundle for as low as $8.99 right now on the PlayStation Store. This offer is only for PS5 owners and lasts until December 2nd. If you play on PC, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch, 4A Games (now Reburn) and Deep Silver plan to offer the same great discount on those platforms soon.
Metro Is Underrated Survival Shooter Horror
Many gamers enjoy the Fallout series, but Metro provides a different, compelling vision of a post-apocalyptic world. These games deserve more recognition, but they’ve often been overlooked, especially compared to titles like Fallout 3 and the recently released Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. The story is well-written, taking place in the ruined Moscow subway system and the dangerous surface world, and the gameplay is both exciting and nerve-wracking. If you’re a fan of Stalker, this is an incredible opportunity to experience something similar.
Getting one of the Metro games is a good value, but this bundle with all three games and extra content is an absolute steal. Players who like to explore everything can easily get over 100 hours of gameplay, while even those who just focus on the main story will spend around 50 hours enjoying it. For the price, the PlayStation Metro Saga Bundle is an incredible deal, especially leading up to Thanksgiving.
Other Survival & Shooter Deals to Check Out
If you’re a fan of intense, realistic shooters like the Metro series, you should check out Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, Gears of War: Reloaded, and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. For a scarier experience similar to Metro, consider Dead Space, the Resident Evil Remake Trilogy, and Dying Light Definitive Edition. PlayStation players who enjoy the Metro games will probably like these titles as well.
Although the Metro Saga Bundle isn’t discounted on Steam right now, you can find deals on Fallout 4 and Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, which offer a similar post-apocalyptic experience. Xbox players can also snag discounts on titles like Gears of War: Reloaded, Fallout 4, and Dying Light 2: Stay Human – Reloaded Edition. While these aren’t Metro games, they share many of the same exciting features.
