The seemingly cheerful K-Pop group Saja Boys hides a dark secret. As rivals to the popular Huntrix in the Netflix film KPop Demon Hunters, they’re more than just competition. Led by the demon Jinu, these five members are actually carefully created demons disguised as idols. Their goal isn’t to overpower humans, but to capture their souls using catchy songs and irresistible charm. Each member embodies a troubling aspect of the relationship between idols and their fans, making them as dangerous psychologically as they are supernaturally.
To understand just how threatening the Saja Boys are, you need to look beyond their charming appearances and consider the surprising power they possess – a power that allows them to captivate people with their music, almost as if they’re capturing souls.
5) Romance

Romance poses a more limited threat compared to the others, meaning he’s less dangerous in a big fight. His power works on people’s minds – he represents the idea of romance itself. He’s built to inspire strong, unreturned feelings in his followers, luring them into fantasies that make them easy targets for Gwi-ma’s overall plan.
I’ve been studying this demon, and it’s fascinating! He doesn’t fight like the others – he overwhelms people with this… weaponized affection. It messes with their emotions and leaves them vulnerable, but honestly, he’s not much of a fighter on his own. He mostly supports his teammates, which is kind of ironic because it actually makes his whole act fall apart. It’s like, the more you look, the clearer it becomes that what he’s offering isn’t real love at all – it’s just a pathetic copy.
4) Baby

Baby Saja, the youngest member of the group, embodies both the trend of making idols appear childlike and a wild, unpredictable energy. He’s dangerous because his bursts of power are sudden and incredibly destructive. He attacks with fiery blasts from his microphone, and his fast, chaotic movements make him hard to catch.
Even though Baby is incredibly strong, his unpredictable nature is actually a flaw. His power isn’t consistent, making him erratic in battle and less of a calculated opponent. He can cause a lot of destruction, but because he’s impulsive and immature, he’s better suited to creating chaos than being a truly dangerous, key threat.
3) Abby

Abby is the strongest of the four main characters, embodying the negative aspects of how idols are often oversexualized and judged. He excels in physical combat thanks to his incredible strength and martial arts skills, acting as the group’s powerhouse and relying on brute force to win fights.
Abby’s biggest weakness is that he’s very direct and uncomplicated. He’s the most predictable of the Saja Boys, always preferring to fight up close. Once the Hunters figure out how to stay out of his reach and use his predictable style against him, he becomes much easier to handle, and his strength isn’t as threatening as the more cunning abilities of the other members.
2) Mystery

Mystery lives up to his name as a dangerous opponent because he can disappear whenever he wants. This ability reflects the pressure on celebrities to maintain a private persona and hide who they really are. His power of teleportation and invisibility makes him incredibly hard to find in battle, letting him avoid defenses and attack unexpectedly.
Mystery’s tendency to remain hidden is a powerful tactic, unsettling fans and creating anxiety. He’s a looming threat that can’t be directly addressed, making opponents waste energy fighting against nothing. This invisibility gives him a huge advantage, making him ideal for espionage, ambushes, and generally confusing those who try to track him down.
1) Jinu

Jinu is the true force behind the Saja Boys, and his danger goes far beyond physical strength. He’s a master manipulator with supernatural powers, able to control people with his voice and drain their life force. He’s not just powerful – he’s a disaster in the making.
Jinu isn’t just a powerful individual; he’s a brilliant strategist with ties to a vast network of demons. He cleverly uses the K-Pop world – its events, fans, and publicity – to create opportunities for demonic activity, essentially turning concerts into hunting grounds. He’s the mastermind behind Gwi-ma’s plans and represents the biggest threat to Honmoon’s forces.
