Borderlands 4, the newest installment in the popular series by Gearbox, builds on the foundation of Borderlands 3 while introducing some fresh changes. One thing fans will be happy to see return is the use of Shift codes! These codes let players unlock valuable loot, including powerful gear that can help them succeed as Vault Hunters. We’ve gathered a complete list of currently available Shift codes below, along with instructions on how to redeem them in the game and claim your rewards.
This list of codes will change regularly. We’ll add new codes as Gearbox releases them, and remove any that have expired.

Besides the codes mentioned earlier, you can also get a Golden Key by joining the *Borderlands 4* Discord Quest. Here’s how to complete it:
- Log in to Discord and click on “Discover.” Click on “Quests” and you’ll see the “Borderlands 4 Looter Quest.” Accept the quest to start it.
- Click on “Select a platform to get started,” and pick your preferred platform.
- Once you’ve connected your console by following Discord’s instructions, you need to play Borderlands 4 for 15 minutes. Once that’s up, you can claim your reward in Discord. You’ll be given a unique key that you can use through September 25 to claim a Golden Key.

The Shift codes listed are no longer valid and won’t give you rewards. However, keeping this list is useful because it lets you quickly see which codes have expired, so you don’t waste time trying them.

How to Redeem Borderlands 4 Shift Codes
Once you’ve created a Shift Account on the website and connected it, you can redeem Shift codes in a couple of ways. You can either visit the official Shift website, log in, and paste your codes into the “Rewards” section. If the code works, you’ll be able to send the reward to any account you’ve linked.
You can redeem in-game codes either through the Shift website or directly in the game menu. To access the in-game menu, open the main menu and select the “Shift” tab, where you can enter codes and view your claimed rewards. We suggest using the Shift website, particularly if you’re on a console, because it’s much easier to copy and paste the codes instead of typing them in manually.
