To capture both Kerotans and Ga-Kos, you’ll find them essential during your second expedition to Dolinovodno in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. It’s important to note that these aren’t the same as those encountered during the Virtuous Mission.
As a devoted gamer, I’ve noticed that Kerotans – the charming frog toys from MGS3 – have made their return, hiding in familiar spots just like they did in the earlier versions of the game. However, Delta offers something unique: Ga-Kos, camouflaged duck toys equipped with ghillie suits, which can only be found here. Give them a whack when you spot them to “collect” them. Gather them all to bag some trophies and unlock some incredibly potent new camouflages!
Let’s dive right in and discuss where you can find those collectibles in Dolinovodno, during Operation Snake Eater!

Virtuous Mission vs Operation Snake Eater
At the outset, it’s crucial to highlight that if you missed obtaining Kerotans and Ga-Kos in this region during the Virtuous Mission, you won’t find the original ones now. They have vanished, having been replaced by others during Operation Snake Eater. The ones we will be discussing here are the new ones that took their place.
During gameplay, it’s not necessary to strike every toy in one go! If some toys have been overlooked, you can always start a fresh game and quickly aim for them. Regardless of when you hit them, they will still contribute to your game progress. For assistance on locating the Kerotan and Ga-Ko spots in Dolinovodno (Virtuous Mission), please refer to our helpful guide.
Kerotan #1
During your second visit, similar to the one during the Virtuous Mission, you’ll discover that there is just one Kerotan to be found in Dolinovodno. On this occasion, make your way to the northern end of the bridge for your search.
Once you’ve passed over the bridge, look to your right and you will be facing east. You’ll easily spot the vibrant green form of Kerotan on the cliffside. Its color contrasts remarkably well with the surrounding dense jungle, making it easy to locate!
Ga-Ko #1
Look for the Ga-Ko in the exact same location where you discovered the Kerotan. Instead, look slightly downwards and towards the right, beneath the Kerotan. You’ll spot something unusual that seems out of place among the grass – that’s the Ga-Ko’s camouflage, take a shot to reveal it!
To help identify it more clearly, the image provided illustrates the Ga-Ko once revealed following exposure. Quite elusive, its camouflage in the dark makes it rather hard to spot; perhaps the snake could use some of these stealthy tactics too!
Here’s what I came up with: “And here we are. That concludes your search for Kerotans and Ga-Kos during your second trip to Dolinovodno in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. While the number is limited, remember that this region isn’t expansive either.
