All of Us Are Dead Season 2 cast and plot announced, release date could be in 2026
Netflix has confirmed that All of Us Are Dead Season 2 is now in production.
In 2022, the Korean young adult zombie series adapted from Joo Dong-geun’s webtoon achieved phenomenal success, accumulating over 560 million viewing hours within its first 28 days and making it into the Top 10 in over 90 countries.
Among the returning actors are Park Ji-hu as Nam On-jo, Yoon Chan-young as Lee Cheong-san, Cho Yi-hyun as Choi Nam-ra, and Lomon as Lee Su-hyeok. Joining them for the first time are Lee Min-jae, Kim Si-eun, Roh Jae-won, and Yoon Ga-i.
In a fresh new season, we follow Nam On-jo as she navigates her life as a university student in Seoul. She’s still dealing with the emotional scars left by the Hyosan High outbreak. When another zombie attack strikes the city, she finds herself alone, having lost the companions she once leaned on. Joining her are characters such as Lee Cheong-san, Choi Nam-ra, and Lee Su-hyeok, who are also grappling with life post-outbreak. The narrative delves into their individual journeys of adaptation.
In the story, On-jo establishes connections with her college seniors Yong Ma-ru (Lee Min-jae), So Ju-ran (Kim Si-eun), and Lee Jong-a (Yoon Ga-i). This group has devised unique strategies to navigate the ongoing crisis. Simultaneously, Han Du-seok (Roh Jae-won), a chief from the National Intelligence Service, introduces new elements of suspense into the plot.
In the second season, filmmakers Lee JQ and Kim Nam-su take on directing duties, while Chun Sung-il handles the scriptwriting. The production company FILM MONSTER Co., Ltd. is at the helm, with additional cooperation from SLL Joongang, KIMJONGHAK PRODUCTION, and NPIO Entertainment.
Netflix has not announced a release date yet, but the season is expected to premiere in 2026.
