Through the debut of Pokemon Home, players of Pokemon games now have the ability to move their Pokemon between different games. This feature is impressive on its own, but it also offers unique rewards for completing specific tasks. These rewards can be claimed in various ways and are available across numerous Nintendo Switch games. Most of these rewards are shiny Pokemon, but some are exclusive mythical Pokemon that can no longer be obtained using other methods. Completing the challenges to earn these rewards is an excellent way to fill out a Pokedex and acquire rare Pokemon from earlier generations.
By filling up the Pokedex, in numerous ways, across diverse games, players can secure uncommon Pokemon within Pokemon Home, which they can subsequently transfer to other titles. Additionally, depositing and distributing Pokemon via the GTS (Global Trade System) and Wonderbox systems will earn players rewards. Keep an eye out for new incentives in Pokemon Legends: Z-A, particularly regarding the starter Pokemon, as additional perks might be introduced.

In Pokemon Home, certain rewards such as Shiny Zeraora, Squirtle with the Gigantamax Factor, and Bulbasaur with the same factor will eventually expire and become unavailable for claim. If you’ve missed out on these specific Pokemon rewards, your only option to obtain them is by trading with other players.
