The story of *World War Hulk* is a fan favorite, famous for beginning when Earth’s heroes exiled the Hulk into space, believing he was too dangerous. They soon regretted that decision when he returned, far angrier than before. Now, Marvel is revisiting that level of destruction with a new crossover event featuring Godzilla. After already causing widespread chaos throughout the Marvel Universe, Godzilla is set to unleash one final, universe-threatening rampage.
Godzilla: Infinity Roar is the newest installment in the King of Monsters’ ongoing rampage through the Marvel Universe, and it might be the best one yet. This five-part series brings Godzilla together with Knull, the powerful God of Symbiotes and the King in Black. Both are incredibly dangerous on their own, and now they’re joining forces to unleash even more chaos than anyone could expect.
The King of Monsters Meets the King in Black

Desperate to save Earth from Godzilla’s relentless attacks, the Avengers and other heroes blast him into space, hoping to contain the threat. However, Godzilla encounters Knull, a powerful being who amplifies Godzilla’s rage. Together, they become an even more destructive force, threatening not just Earth, but the entire universe. No one, from the Kree and Skrull empires to the Nova Corps, will be safe from their cosmic rampage.
Godzilla and Knull have crossed paths before. During the battle with Spider-Man, the Venom symbiote gained some of Godzilla’s power and became God-Venom, after Godzilla broke free from Knull’s influence. Godzilla refuses to be controlled, but Knull isn’t trying to dominate him this time. Instead, he’s proposing an alliance – a dangerous one, but Godzilla might actually accept it.
After proving himself in several recent team-up adventures, Godzilla is heading to space! The new comic series will be written by Gerry Duggan, known for his work on *Deadpool* and *Uncanny Avengers*, and illustrated by Javier Garrón (*Avengers*, *Miles Morales: Spider-Man*) and Ig Guara (*All-New Wolverine*, *Pet Avengers*). Duggan and Garrón previously collaborated on *Godzilla Destroys the Marvel Universe*, giving them a strong foundation for showcasing the monster’s terrifying power.

Duggan described working with Godzilla as a surprisingly positive experience, saying, ‘Most actors are difficult, but Godzilla has been a real pleasure.’ He also hinted at exciting future projects, promising the next Godzilla crossover will be the biggest and most intense yet, and that the Marvel Universe is facing unprecedented danger. He concluded with a playful, ‘See you in space!’
