After the debut of “Final Destination Bloodlines”, all five out of six films in the “Final Destination” series are now accessible for streaming online at no cost. Following a 14-year break, the “Final Destination” franchise made its comeback in 2025 with “Bloodlines”, which turned out to be the most critically acclaimed and profitable film within the 25-year-old movie series. Unlike previous installments, “Bloodlines” featured Stefani (played by Kaitlyn Santa Juana) experiencing her grandmother’s premonition from 1969, revealing an intriguing link within the franchise’s narrative. With this opportunity to stream the entire series for free, viewers can now follow the storyline more comprehensively.
Beginning on July 1, 2025, the initial five “Final Destination” films became accessible for free viewing on Tubi, providing fans an opportunity to revisit the entire series after the debut of “Bloodlines“. However, it’s worth noting that “Bloodlines“, being the latest addition to the “Final Destination” series, is currently not included in the free line-up. Among other classic films, Tubi also added “Arrival”, “Titanic”, “Forrest Gump”, “Jurassic World”, and numerous others in July. Intriguingly, Tubi expanded its streaming service by adding 128 movies and 10 new TV series during this month.
The “Final Destination” series began in March 2000, introducing the story of Alex Browning (Devon Sawa). On a school trip to Paris, he had a premonition that the plane was about to explode before takeoff. Using this foresight, he managed to get several students and a teacher off the plane, which then exploded, sparing his friends from certain death. However, Death proved relentless, and the entity later targeted Alex and his friends one by one in the following months. Despite receiving mixed reviews, the movie’s popularity and dedicated fanbase ensured that sequels would follow.
In 2003, the film Final Destination 2 featured Kimberley Corman, played by A.J. Cook, who saved a bunch of strangers from a car accident on the highway. Fast forward to 2006, and in Final Destination 3, it was Wendy Christensen, portrayed by Mary Elizabeth Winstead, saving her classmates from a rollercoaster mishap. The following year, 2009’s The Final Destination had Bobby Campo as Nick O’Bannon, who foresaw a massive crash at a racetrack. Jumping back to 2011, the prequel Final Destination 5 centered around Sam Lawton, played by Nicholas D’Agosto, preventing his coworkers from a bridge collapse during a company retreat. Despite their heroic actions, each character found themselves in Death’s crosshairs after these events.
As a die-hard movie enthusiast, I found “Final Destination: Bloodlines” from 2025 intriguing. It proposed an engaging twist: the chain of events traced back to the Sky View tower disaster in 1969, which Iris (Brec Bassinger) had foreseen and averted, sparing hundreds. Unbeknownst to many, these survivors unknowingly became Death’s targets, but the ripple effect extended beyond them – even their ancestors were not exempt. It took Death several decades to settle this score, culminating in Iris, her family, and the late Tony Todd’s William Bludworth.
Craig Perry, the producer of “Final Destination,” hinted that more sequels might be on the horizon after “Bloodlines.” So, if you haven’t yet watched this gripping franchise, now’s your chance! Streaming it on Tubi will make you part of a growing audience eagerly waiting for what’s next in this chilling saga.
