Being single should be fun—just ask Amanda Batula.

Amanda, who recently separated from her husband Kyle Cooke in January, says she’s feeling good about moving forward after the end of their four-year marriage. She describes the split as a positive step.

“I feel amazing, like nothing can stop me,” she shared in a recent Marie Claire interview, published on March 3rd. She also said she’s happier than she’s ever been.

Despite the breakup, it wasn’t an easy decision for the 34-year-old. She explained that the time before they split was very difficult, and both she and Kyle, 43, were reluctant to end things.

She explained that they were both having a hard time deciding whether to end the relationship, and she admitted she started to lose touch with herself during that time. Eventually, she realized she’d done all she could to make it work and just didn’t have the energy to continue. They both came to the same conclusion: the relationship wasn’t going to improve.

After Kyle and Amanda announced their split, many viewers of Bravo reality shows compared them to Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval from Vanderpump Rules. That relationship ended badly in 2023 when Tom cheated with a friend of both of them, Rachel Leviss. While the scandal helped Ariana’s career – she went on to host Love Island USA – Amanda sees the situation very differently.

People are hoping for a similar empowering moment for me like Ariana Madix had after her breakup, but my situation was completely different and much more difficult. There’s honestly no comparing the two. Kyle and I are doing well.

Even so, Amanda’s recent musical shift reflects her growing independence, allowing her to start this new phase of her career with confidence and success.
