Amazon Is Giving Away 11 Free Games in January 2026

Amazon is offering 11 free PC games to its Prime members throughout January 2026. For years, free games have been a major benefit of a Prime subscription, allowing members to download and keep popular titles like BioShock, Fallout, and Borderlands – adding up to thousands of dollars in value. Amazon plans to continue this popular perk, and has just released the first three free games for January.

Throughout January, Amazon Luna will be adding 11 new games to its cloud gaming service. The biggest highlight is likely Civilization VI, which is available to play right now. Other notable games coming this month include Harold Halibut, ELDERBORN, and Brigador.

Here’s a complete list of what’s new on Amazon this month, including when each title becomes available:

  • Sid Meier’s Civilization VI [Epic Games Store] – Available Today
  • Brigador: Up-Armored Edition [GOG Code] – Available Today
  • Reflections of Life: Dark Architect Collector’s Edition [Amazon Games App] – Available Today
  • Brigador: Up-Armored Deluxe [GOG Code] – Available January 15th
  • Gunslugs: Rogue Tactics [GOG Code] – Available January 15th
  • DeathKeep [GOG Code] – Available January 15th
  • Harold Halibut [GOG Code] – Available January 22nd
  • D&D Stronghold: Kingdom Simulator [GOG Code] – Available January 22nd
  • Al-Qadim: The Genie’s Curse [GOG Code] – Available January 29th
  • Technotopia [Amazon Games App] – Available January 29th
  • ELDERBORN [GOG Code] – Available January 29th

In addition to offering a selection of games you can download and own permanently, Amazon is adding 12 more titles to its Luna streaming service. These games are cloud-based only, meaning you need an internet connection to play them, but the lineup includes popular titles like Alan Wake, Death Stranding, and Madden NFL 26.

Overall, Amazon is starting 2026 with a great selection of free games for Prime members. These games won’t be available forever, so if you’re a subscriber, be sure to download them before they disappear from the catalog in the coming months.
