Amazon Prime just saved your Christmas gathering from a sorry end, with help from Snoop Dogg

Okay, fellow gamers, listen up! If you’re an Amazon Prime member, your holiday game night just got a serious upgrade – and get this, Snoop Dogg is involved! Seriously, I’m not making this up. It looks like Christmas just got a whole lot cooler.

Amazon Luna Game Night is a free benefit for Amazon Prime members, giving you access to a collection of easy-to-play games right on your TV.

Plus, you don’t need any controllers – you play the game entirely on your phone.

Check out the video below and you’ll see how it works!

Amazon Luna Game Night offers fast-paced, casual games perfect for a quick play. You’ll find options like Draw and Guess, a digital take on Pictionary, along with Taboo and Flappy Golf – a multiplayer version of the popular Flappy Bird. They also have games based on Angry Birds.

You’ll also find longer, more unusual experiences, like “Snoop Dogg’s Courtroom Chaos.” In this one, an AI version of Snoop Dogg will help you resolve disagreements. It’s definitely unexpected, but if Snoop Dogg wanted to participate, we weren’t going to argue!

We tried out Amazon Luna Game Night at a preview event and enjoyed playing with other people. It was a lot of fun, but it would be even more enjoyable playing with friends or family, as you’d already share inside jokes and have a shared history to make the experience even better.

I especially remember two things from the preview event. The first was Flappy Golf, a fast-paced game where you control a character flying through levels similar to Flappy Bird, racing to be the first to reach the golf flag.

The game was easy to learn, which led to some hilariously messy moments. It didn’t matter if you weren’t good – everyone had a great time and lots of laughs!

I also kept thinking about Snoop Dogg’s Courtroom Chaos, and like I said before, it’s a really unpredictable game.

To show how it works, we were asked to create a ridiculous disagreement – someone claimed another person stole their dog – and watch how Judge Snoop handles it. It turns out Snoop Dogg has always dreamed of being a judge!

Snoop Dogg recorded a lot of material for this project, and the AI is free to use his voice and style to respond to anything in any way it chooses.

The show had a lot of funny moments. One running gag involved Judge Snoop constantly accusing a particular contestant of lying, which always got a big reaction from everyone watching.

Using this virtual courtroom was actually really enjoyable, and it got me thinking it could be a fun way to resolve disagreements with friends or family. Ultimately, Snoop Dogg has the final say.

After trying out Amazon Luna Game Night, we think it’s a great way to have some quick fun – like when everyone’s finished a board game night but isn’t quite ready to call it quits, and you want something lighter than starting a long, involved game.

I love how simple and accessible these games are – anyone can just jump right in and have fun! They’re perfect for playing on your TV when you just want to relax. They might not be groundbreaking, but honestly, they do exactly what they set out to do, and they do it really well. It’s pure, easy entertainment.

If you’re looking for something fun to do this Christmas and you have Amazon Prime, try Amazon Luna Game Night on your Smart TV or Fire Stick. It’s easy to start and a great way to relax and enjoy the holidays!
