For quite some time now, the life simulation genre has predominantly been controlled by The Sims. However, an emerging contender from South Korea, named ZOI, is challenging this longstanding dominance of Electronic Arts (EA) in the series.
Now, it’s been officially confirmed the game is heading to PS5 when it launches in “early 2026”.
For individuals not yet familiar, InZOI represents an exceptionally bold approach to life simulation games, developed using Unreal Engine 5 and boasting striking visual aesthetics.
In this scenario, you serve as the leader of a community known as the Zois, responsible for managing both them and their cities. You have the creative freedom to tailor your characters and the surroundings according to your preferences. The Zois possess autonomy, and as you guide them, unforeseen events may occur, giving you the feeling of being a divine force shaping their world.

Here’s the early access trailer to give you an idea:
The game is currently only accessible in an early version on PC, but it has been confirmed that it will eventually make its way to PlayStation 5 soon.
