American Idol Exec and Husband’s Cause of Death Revealed in Homicide

New details have emerged regarding the death of Robin Kaye and her husband Thomas Deluca.

Approximately a month following the tragic discovery of the ex-music supervisor for “American Idol” and her spouse, both aged 70, in their LA residence, the official reason behind their demise has been disclosed.

It is reported by People, based on their death certificates, that both Kaye and Deluca lost their lives due to gunshot wounds they received on July 10. According to the documents, Deluca succumbed to his injuries almost immediately, while Kaye lived for a few more minutes after being shot.

Despite the death certificate indicating they sustained fatal injuries on July 10, it was recorded that they passed away on July 14 at 4:14, a time when they were discovered dead in their residence by the Los Angeles Police Department.

During that moment, TopMob News was informed by the police that they were carrying out a welfare inspection. Upon arrival, they found a male and a female who appeared to have sustained injuries from gunshots.

On July 10, the police were summoned to the couple’s home due to a suspicious individual, who could have been armed, attempting to enter, as reported by TMZ. Upon arrival, the officers did not find any evidence of forced entry and conducted a thorough search of the premises before departing.

On July 18, shortly after the bodies of Kaye and Deluca were discovered, Raymond Boodarian, aged 22, was taken into custody for their murders. He has been indicted with two counts of first-degree murder and one count of burglary involving a residential property, as reported by NBC News. However, instead of the scheduled arraignment on August 20, a judge postponed the legal proceedings temporarily while Boodarian underwent a psychiatric evaluation to assess his mental fitness for trial. At this point, he has not entered a plea.

District Attorney Nathan Hochman initially reported, as stated by the media, that Kaye and Deluca may have returned home unexpectedly, finding Boodarian in the act of burglary. He suggested that Boodarian used the homeowners’ firearm to shoot them, before subsequently dialing 911 himself.

Following her passing, Kaye, known for her work as a music supervisor on Lip Sync Battle, various editions of the Miss Universe and Miss USA Pageants, was fondly recalled by her American Idol coworkers.
