Justin Guarini has a new idol in his life.

It turns out the former American Idol contestant and his wife, Reina Guarini, divorced almost two years ago. He’s now dating Kim Walsh Phillips, who also manages his career and is his business partner.

She said they’re so lucky to have built this amazing business together, helping other entrepreneurs – which is already incredible, right? – but then it blossomed into something more, like a real love story! I’m seriously living for this. It’s just…perfect! They started as partners in work and now they’re partners in life! I knew it! I just knew it!

Justin, known for being on the first season of American Idol, began collaborating with Kim as a speaker around 2022, as shared on her Instagram. The actor from From Justin to Kelly was frequently featured on her social media, showcasing their appearances at speaking events and business gatherings.

I was so shocked to hear the news! It seems Justin filed for divorce from Reina in June 2024, according to reports. They’d been married for fifteen years, since 2009, and I know they’re both devoted to their two sons, William, who’s 14, and Asher, 13. It’s also sad to think about Reina’s daughter, Lola, who’s 21 and Justin has been a wonderful stepdad to all these years.

TMZ reported that their divorce wasn’t officially completed until December 2025, about a year and a half after they initially separated.

Kim began managing Justin that year, according to her Instagram, and they eventually started dating.

Since then, Justin has openly shared his feelings for his partner online. He recently praised Kim, who is also a business coach, and talked about how she’s positively impacted his life.

In a birthday post for Kim on Instagram, he shared how amazed he is by her. He wrote that he feels lucky to witness her life every day, praising her kindness, intelligence, generosity, and incredible spirit.

The performer went on to say, ‘You’re incredibly intelligent, but even more importantly, you’re a deeply caring person. You’re generous, you support others, and you fill every space and life you encounter with love—especially mine.’

Justin ended his heartfelt message by writing, “You fill my life with joy, purpose, laughter, and love. You’ve made me a better person, father, and artist, and I’m truly grateful for everything.”

“Happy birthday, sweetheart,” he said. “Thank you for being my partner in everything – work, life, our dreams, and, of course, in love. I’m so incredibly grateful to have you.”

He’s released three albums: his self-titled debut in 2012, then I Put A Spell On You in 2018, and most recently, Jazz in 2019. He’s really built a solid career for himself, and I’m excited to see what he does next.

Jimmie was eliminated before the live shows on season 10 of a singing competition, but he’s since become a successful artist, with two songs – “Best Shot” in 2018 and “Make Me Want To” – reaching the top of the charts. He was also named the Country Music Association’s New Artist of the Year in 2021.

In April 2023, Jimmie and his wife, Alexis Allen, announced they were expecting their third child while simultaneously ending their two-year marriage. Shortly after, Jimmie was accused of sexual assault and abuse by his former manager in a lawsuit.
