Amy Schumer is advocating for self-love this Valentine’s Day, even if she feels like a trainwreck.

Amy Schumer, known for her role in I Feel Pretty, recently gave fans a peek at her Valentine’s Day celebrations, just a month after announcing her divorce from Chris Fischer.

On February 14th, Amy shared a selfie on Instagram Stories with a sweet message: “Give yourself all the love today.” She also wished her followers a “Happy vday.”

In the photo, the 44-year-old is posing in front of a sign she made that says “crying corner.” She also set out a box of tissues and two water bottles, and gave the camera a forced, wide-eyed smile.

Just one month after filing for separation from her husband, Chris, on January 6th, the actress—who has a 6-year-old son named Gene—shared a frank post about Valentine’s Day. Court records obtained by TopMob News confirm the legal separation after seven years of marriage.

Amy’s lawyer filed for a divorce that both she and her spouse agree on. They’ve already worked out all the details regarding finances, property, and any children involved, so there are no disputes to settle.

In a statement posted to Instagram on December 12th, she shared that she and her partner love each other deeply and plan to continue prioritizing their son’s upbringing.

She joked that her recent weight loss wasn’t the reason, and neither was the fact that he’s a handsome, award-winning chef who’s still very attractive.

Amy added, “Amicable and all love and respect! Family forever.”
