Amy Schumer Poses in Minidress in New Photos After Weight Loss Journey

Amy Schumer is feeling pretty in her latest look.

The star of If recently shared photos from a photoshoot she did at home. She looked stunning in a short, yellow Valentino dress while posing on the stairs, showing off her fit figure.

Her son, Gene, 6, playfully crashed the photo shoot, making a silly face from behind her. She shared the pictures on Instagram on November 30th, joking, “Trying to get to the party, but someone refuses to go to bed!”

Amy shared another photo of her outfit: a short silk Valentino dress with lace and a bow at the hem. She wore it with black heels and posed on the steps while Gene ran by.

Actress Amy Schumer has been confidently showing off her weight loss since October. She’s openly discussed using the drug Ozempic, which she started after gaining weight related to her Cushing’s syndrome and endometriosis diagnoses. Recently, she responded to accusations that she removed older photos from social media because she was vain.

In a recent Instagram post on November 12th, she clarified that she hadn’t deleted older photos because they were from before she lost weight. She explained that the media had created a false story, and she’s always been proud of her appearance. She also shared that she’s been focused on overcoming pain and has finally achieved that goal.

She shared that she’s feeling much better – her endometriosis is under control, her back is recovering, and she’s no longer dealing with Cushing syndrome, which has restored her appearance. She expressed gratitude for her strength and health, particularly for her son. However, she also pointed out that Instagram doesn’t reflect a person’s true self, but rather a carefully chosen presentation. She feels fantastic, strong, and beautiful, and has enjoyed sharing positive aspects of her life online.

Amy says she didn’t intentionally set out to lose weight, but she’s happy about the positive impact it’s had on her health.

I’ve been prioritizing my health, and I know my weight will naturally go up and down,” she explained. “As a woman going through perimenopause and taking hormone therapy, I want to wish everyone strength and self-love on their journey, as long as they treat themselves and others with kindness and respect, regardless of weight, race, or religion. Peace to all!

In October 2024, Dr. Eric Smith told People magazine that Tammy has been consistently dedicated to making lasting, healthy changes to get the most out of her surgery. It seems as if every time Jelly Roll hits a red carpet, he’s down a sizable slice of weight.

The singer, Jason DeFord, shared with Pat McAfee in April 2025 on his live show, Big Night Aht, that he’s lost a significant amount of weight – dropping from 540 pounds to 357 pounds that morning. He plans to lose another 100 pounds and celebrate by skydiving with his wife in Sweden.

The artist, who is 6’1”, shared that he had to completely change his approach to food to achieve his goals. In an October 2024 interview on the On Purpose With Jay Shetty podcast, he explained that he’s always believed there’s a strong link between obesity and mental wellbeing. He acknowledged it’s easy for people to say, ‘Just eat less and exercise!’, but admitted he wished he could have seen food that way himself.

Jelly Roll acknowledged that losing weight was still a major challenge, but he was happy to see his new, healthier habits were starting to make a difference.

I’m really focused on my well-being right now, and it’s paying off! I’m making a conscious effort to prioritize healthy habits – lots of water, regular cold plunges, and a really clean diet. It takes dedication, but I’m putting in the work and feeling fantastic.

Al Roker wasn’t kidding around with the title of his cookbook Recipes to Live By.

After losing 100 pounds through dedication and effort, the longtime TODAY weatherman truly practices what he preaches. He makes sure to get at least 10,000 steps each day, eats a healthy diet, and exercises regularly.

“I always say that doing something is better than doing nothing at all,” he shared with People magazine in June 2025. “While some people aim for intense fitness goals like running marathons or weightlifting, most just want to be healthy enough to enjoy life.”

Al Roker had gastric bypass surgery in 2002 as a starting point for getting in shape, but he emphasizes that there’s no quick or easy fix.

Surgery is “not the end,” he advised. “You’re still going to have to put in the work.”

Former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, previously famous for his role in the “tush push” play, has recently been gaining attention for his impressive physique.

The former NFL player was always physically fit throughout his 13 years in the league, but he’s currently about 25 pounds lighter than his playing weight. He recently shared at a golf tournament in Philadelphia that he now weighs around 270 pounds, down from his 295-pound playing weight.

Kelce explained that his goal weight of 250 to 260 pounds is part of his plan for life after football. He told GQ in June 2024 that he wants to stay in good shape and maintain his size without needing to have extremely defined abs, allowing him to feel happy with his appearance and still have a strong physique.

For the father of four daughters, whose wife is Kylie Kelce, being able to keep up with his children was his biggest priority.

At 277 pounds, he said he’s already feeling relief in his back and knees, and hopes losing another 20 pounds will make it even easier to play with his kids.

Moving from the U.S. to Ireland wasn’t just about a change of location for Rosie O’Donnell and her family; it actually made a difference in their lives.

In a TikTok video from March 2025, she revealed she’d lost weight, explaining it was a side effect of taking Mounjaro for her diabetes.

The former cohost of View recently went shopping in Dublin for clothes that fit better. She explained, “I’ve always struggled with my weight, and now that I’ve gone down to a large size from an extra-large or double extra-large, it feels amazing.”

In August 2024, Jazz Jennings, star of I Am Jazz, revealed she had lost nearly 100 pounds and expressed how proud she was of her achievements.

It turns out Christopher Schwarzenegger is a chip off the ol’ muscly block.

The youngest child of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver quietly lost 30 pounds, but is now returning to a more active life.

He explained at the first Beacher Vitality Happy & Healthy Summit in May 2025 that achieving his results wasn’t quick, and involved a lot of experimentation. He mentioned that simply cutting out bread had a significant impact, but even now, when he compares old and new photos, he doesn’t feel like he’s reached his goal.

Meanwhile, Christopher did not let a certain seven-time Mr. Olympia in on his plan.

Dad Arnold told The Times in June 2025 that he would never directly tell his son he was overweight. Instead, they focused on gradually adding healthy foods to his diet and encouraging him to go to the gym. Eventually, his son decided on his own to get in shape, which Arnold considers fantastic, highlighting his son’s self-discipline and motivation. Arnold always believed the change had to come from within, and it finally did.

Chrissy Metz jokes that she only runs when she has to, but she loves strength training. Working out has been a key part of her journey to lose 100 pounds.

In an April 2025 interview with DailyMail.com, the former This Is Us star explained that her main goal is to age well and stay strong, and that drives all of her choices.

To Metz, aging gracefully means “staying strong and flexible,” so she tries to be active every day.

John Goodman was known for his large physique when he played Dan Conner on the show Roseanne in the 1990s, once reportedly weighing close to 400 pounds, as he shared with David Letterman in 2010. However, by the time The Conners began in 2018, the character – and Goodman himself – had adopted a healthier lifestyle.

I’ve been following Goodman’s journey for a while now, and it all started back in 2007 when he decided to give up alcohol. That was really the beginning of him getting healthier – he took up boxing, which he loved, and he always made time to walk his dogs, too. It’s inspiring to see how far he’s come!

In 2010, he told People magazine that he was working hard to get in shape, exercising six days a week and eliminating sugar from his diet, which helped him lose around 100 pounds. He described it as challenging, but manageable.

Overall, the 6-foot-2 actor has lost about 200 pounds since he was at his peak weight.

In a 2016 interview with ABC News, Goodman explained he simply became exhausted with his own image. He described the feeling of not wanting to even look at himself while shaving, saying it became a troubling situation.

Oprah Winfrey has been sharing the highs and lows of her weight loss journey for decades.

Whether it was surprising viewers on the Oprah Winfrey Show in 1988 by squeezing into skinny jeans while pulling a 67-pound wagon of fat, or investing in WeightWatchers in 2015, Oprah has consistently used her influence to promote discussions about weight and wellness.

Addressing a current topic of discussion, Oprah Winfrey shared in March 2024 during her special program, Shame, Blame and the Weight Loss Revolution, that she was using medication in addition to eating smaller meals and exercising to manage her weight.

“It’s not just one thing,” she said of her secret to staying fit, “it’s multiple things.”

Winfrey shared that her intention with the special was to reduce the shame and judgment surrounding weight. She wanted to end the practice of criticizing others – or ourselves – for our weight or choices about weight loss, and encourage self-acceptance.

Lizzo simply wanted to feel better from head to toe.

In a May 2023 TikTok video, Lizzo explained that she started exercising not to change her body, but to improve her mental wellbeing. She said it helped her feel better about herself and overcome feelings of shame and self-disgust, ultimately shifting her mindset.

In a TikTok post from January 2025, she shared that she was working on losing weight, explaining that her aim was to become the healthiest and happiest version of herself.

Lizzo explained that even after losing weight, she won’t be considered traditionally ‘thin,’ and will likely still be categorized as morbidly obese according to BMI. She anticipates some people online will still comment on her size, but ultimately, her happiness is what matters most.

Just a moment later, the video cut to Lizzo happily announcing that her body fat percentage had decreased by 16% and her BMI had gone down by 10.5 points.

She finished with a reassuring thought: you’re capable of achieving anything you truly focus on. “And now,” she said, “it’s time to start thinking about what’s next.”
