In North America, you can usually find popular Adult Swim shows on HBO Max after they first air on Cartoon Network. However, this isn’t true everywhere else in the world. Some of Warner Bros.’ most popular shows are ending up on streaming services that compete with HBO Max. For instance, Netflix often streams certain animated series internationally, but not in North America. Now, it looks like viewers in some countries will soon lose access to Rick and Morty on Netflix.
I noticed some big changes coming to Netflix for fans of Adult Swim’s Rick and Morty. Starting December 30th, the show will no longer be available in several countries, including Germany, Greece, India, Italy, Japan, and South Korea, among others. Then, on December 31st, the UK will also lose access. The good news is that it’s not a complete removal! Rick and Morty will remain on Netflix in places like Argentina, Brazil, France, and Switzerland, so fans in those countries can still enjoy the show.
Good news for fans in North America: Rick and Morty isn’t expected to leave streaming services anytime soon. The popular Adult Swim series is currently available on both HBO Max and Hulu, and will likely remain there for future seasons. With Cartoon Network already confirming at least twelve seasons are planned, the show’s streaming future looks secure.
Rick And Morty’s Spin-Off Status

Adult Swim announced earlier this year that the popular show Rick and Morty will continue for several more seasons, and a new spin-off series is also in development. The spin-off will center around the President of the United States within the Rick and Morty universe. Keith David, the well-known voice actor who plays President Curtis, will reprise his role. He recently shared his excitement about leading the new show on his social media account.
Hey everyone, I’ve got some exciting news! Adult Swim has given the go-ahead for a new animated series called President Curtis, and I’m the star! It’s a look inside the Oval Office, but things are definitely… different. I think Rick and Morty fans are going to love it. I’ve always had a great time playing President Curtis, and I’m thrilled to finally expand his world in this series. Get ready to see what kind of trouble he gets into when Rick isn’t around to take the attention!
We’d love to hear your thoughts on where Rick and Morty will stream globally! Share your opinions in the comments below and join the discussion in the ComicBook Forum.
