The Anemone movie trailer arrived in our mailbox, and it boasts an impressive pedigree. This is the project that actor Daniel Day Lewis emerged from his 2017 retirement to create, but what’s intriguing is that he co-wrote it with his son Ronan, who is making his directorial debut in a full-length feature film for the first time.
ANEMONE explores the complex and profound ties that exist between brothers, fathers, and sons.
This film, alongside Day-Lewis, features stars such as Sean Bean, Samantha Morton, Samuel Bottomley, and Safia Oakley-Green. It’s released during the season where notable award contenders emerge at festivals. Notably, Lewis is an exceptional actor with three Oscars under his belt, which raises the question – could this be his fourth?
