I’m so excited for Witch Hat Atelier! It’s shaping up to be a must-watch fantasy anime this April, and they’ve just announced where we can stream it, plus some big plans for the first few episodes. With the Winter 2026 anime season wrapping up, we’re already getting a taste of what Spring 2026 has in store, and honestly, there are a lot of big names and franchises I’ve been waiting to see!
The popular manga series Witch Hat Atelier by Kamome Shirahama is getting its first anime adaptation this April as part of the Spring 2024 anime season. The anime’s official social media announced that it will begin with a two-episode premiere. Fans outside of Japan will be able to watch on Crunchyroll, and in select regions, on Netflix.
When Does Witch Hat Atelier Come Out?

The anime adaptation of Witch Hat Atelier will premiere on April 6th as part of the Spring 2026 anime season. Fans in North and South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS regions can exclusively watch it on Crunchyroll. Select areas in Asia will have access through Netflix. Excitingly, these streaming releases will happen a week before the anime airs in Japan, making this premiere a significant event.

Originally planned for a 2025 release but delayed, the fantasy manga was a highly anticipated adaptation even before its Spring 2026 premiere was announced.
