It’s really neat to see so many games that were originally designed as ongoing online services now being released as traditional, standalone purchases.
Honkai Star Rail was released on Blu-ray for the PlayStation 5 a couple of years ago, and now the developers of Zenless Zone Zero are planning to do the same.
Okay, so it’s official! Wuthering Waves is getting a physical release, and it’s hitting shelves in Japan on April 30th. As a gamer, I’m super excited to finally be able to get a physical copy!
The Deluxe Edition will be released around the world, and we’re confirming if the release date will be consistent everywhere.
So, you actually get the complete game on the disc itself, which is cool. But honestly, it feels a little pointless because the game will need an update – a ‘patch’ – the instant you load it up. These games are constantly being tweaked and improved, so you’ll practically be patching it every single day! It’s just the nature of the game, always needing the latest fixes and content.
The Deluxe Edition is mainly for collectors and includes several exclusive extras like an acrylic standee, a metal card, special paper, and a postcard. It also comes with a code to unlock items within the game.
