Another Massive Space Marine 2 Patch Deploys on PS5, Packing a New Class, Mission, and More

The community has really embraced Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, and it’s surprising to realize that the newest update is one of its biggest yet.

Update 12.0 is now available on PlayStation 5, adding even more to this popular action-shooter game.

Okay, the biggest news for me is definitely the Techmarine – a totally new class you can play as! From what I’ve heard, they’re basically soldiers supercharged with tech, and they’re not just about shooting. They can deploy automated weapons to control a bunch of enemies at the same time, which sounds awesome for holding down key areas.

A new class and a powerful weapon, the Omnissian Axe, are now available. You can try them out in a new PvE mission called ‘Disruption,’ where your team will fight off massive swarms of Tyranids and then confront heretics who have infiltrated a Hive City.

Plus, there are a lot of smaller improvements and changes. For example, you can now customize your Space Marine’s appearance and voice no matter what role you play, whether you’re fighting against the environment or other players.

A bunch of perks and weapons have been rebalanced, too.

The complete list of updates is available on the game’s official forums. Be warned – it’s very long, so you might want to get comfy before diving in!
