The PS Store page for JRPG remake Persona 4 Revival has suddenly appeared for wishlisting today.
Although SEGA hasn’t yet specified an exact date, they hinted at a possible release within their fiscal year 2027, which starts as early as April 2026.
The blurb includes a few tidbits about the title, including the following overview:
In Persona 4 Revival, you’ll delve into a series of mysterious killings while simultaneously embarking on a personal growth adventure and encountering supernatural elements. This captivating story unfolds within the framework of a beloved classic role-playing game, now reimagined in a fresh, modern format!”
“Persona 4 Revival blends an intriguing murder mystery with personal growth and occult exploration, all set within a critically acclaimed, revamped RPG universe.
It’s unlikely we’ll get another update on this until the new year, which gives you ample opportunity to explore Atlus’ latest remake, Persona 3 Reload, if you haven’t done so yet.
Indeed, Persona 4, particularly its PS Vita re-release titled Persona 4 Golden, is often hailed as one of the best Japanese Role-Playing Games ever crafted. This masterpiece significantly boosted the popularity of its successor, Persona 5, which has since achieved massive sales figures on various gaming platforms.
