“A First Foothold” is a quest you get as soon as you unlock the Blue Gate map in ARC Raiders.
Apollo noticed some of our buildings near Blue Gate are damaged and need fixing. If you’re raiding in that area, could you take a look? The ARCs are causing problems for everyone else, and it shouldn’t be a major detour.
In this guide, we’ll help you help Apollo by finishing this quest.
A First Foothold Quest Guide | ARC Raiders
This quest requires you to visit four locations, all connected to Raiders and found within the Blue Gate area. You’re free to visit them in any order you choose!
Okay, so I’m heading to the church first. It’s north of the Data Vault – you’ll find it on the northern side of the Blue Gate map.
After you get to the church, use the scaffolding on the side to climb onto the roof. Once you’re up there, adjust the satellite dishes to continue with the quest.
Let’s head to Trapper’s Glade, which is in the west-central area of the map. Look for a Raider building just south of the letter ‘s’ in the name ‘Trapper’s’.
Okay, so I need to get on the roof and look for a yellow spot that lets me interact with things. Once I find it, I just need to hold down the button to secure the roof and complete the objective. Got it!
Moving on, you’ll need to go west of the Olive Grove in the southern part of the map.
You’ll come across another Raider building. Like before, climb on top of it. This time, you’ll see a yellow terminal – simply interact with it to finish this part of the task.
Finally, we come to the observation deck, located near the Ridgeline landmark. You can find it in the southeastern part of the map, as illustrated above.
Okay, so I figured out the last part! You need to find the prompt – it’s near the bottom of that wooden thing. Using it will finally fix the deck, and that finishes the quest! All that’s left is to go back to Apollo in Speranza and tell him I’m done. Easy!
