Although ARC Raiders was just released a few weeks ago, its developer, Embark Studios, is already making changes based on what players are saying.
Embark recently shared some positive updates on their website about their popular extraction shooter game.
The game now lets you team up with a friend for matches! You can play as a duo, and the matchmaking system will find other duos for you to compete against. Here’s how the developers, Embark, explain how it works:
Here’s how Duo matchmaking will work: We’ll first make sure Solo and Squad players are matched with others in those same modes. Then, we’ll try to match Duos with other Duos, and Trios with Trios. Keep in mind this isn’t perfect, so you might occasionally end up in matches with players in different team sizes.
Starting tomorrow, November 13th, we’re lowering the prices of cosmetics in the in-game store based on your feedback. If you recently purchased any of these items, we’ll automatically refund the price difference in Raider Tokens to your account.
Certain in-game items are selling for around $20, which is surprisingly half the cost of the game itself. This suggests a welcome improvement.
