Sony revealed the most downloaded games on the PlayStation Store for December 2025, and ARC Raiders was the most popular title on PlayStation 5.
The new sci-fi shooter is a hit, becoming the best-selling game in North America. However, in Europe, EA Sports FC 26 remains the most popular title, leaving the shooter in second place.
ARC Raiders is gaining popularity, recently ranking second and third place in player interest, which is a positive sign for the game’s developer, Embark.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 has moved down to third place in the US and fourth in Europe, but Grand Theft Auto V continues to stay popular, remaining in the top ten charts.
Battlefield 6 is losing popularity, currently ranking eighth and tenth. Meanwhile, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is gaining traction, landing in tenth and ninth place, likely due to its successful appearance at The Game Awards and a recent sale.
