ARC Raiders Celebrates Incredible Weekend With Over 700,000 Concurrent Players

Embark Studios’ new game, ARC Raiders, has quickly become popular since its release last week. It briefly became more played on Steam than Battlefield 6, and recently had almost 463,000 players online at the same time. The developer also shared that across all gaming platforms, over 700,000 people were playing the game simultaneously.

As a huge fan of ARC Raiders, I have to say the way the community has been playing and interacting with the game is incredible! The developers at Embark recently tweeted that they’re totally blown away by how we’re all playing – we’re constantly surprising them and finding new strategies they didn’t even think of! And honestly, they love it – and so do I!

Honestly, you guys are the best! You constantly inspire us to improve, and we’re so thankful to have your support on this whole adventure. It really means a lot!

Although official sales figures haven’t been released, estimates suggest the game sold 2.5 million copies in its first week, with most of those sales coming from Steam. It’s currently the top-selling game on Steam worldwide, beating out popular titles like Counter-Strike 2 and Battlefield 6.

The game is very popular with players, boasting a “Very Positive” rating on Steam where 89% of over 65,000 reviews are positive. Critics also generally like it, giving it a Metascore of 84 based on 33 reviews.
