High demand briefly caused problems with connecting to matches and logging in. The tokens are for players who tried to play during the particularly difficult period on Sunday, when Embark had to create a waiting queue to stabilize the game. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Embark apologized for the overload and said they’re still working to improve the game’s connection, voice chat, and login processes.

The apology came after the game launched on PC to a surprisingly large audience. SteamDB data shows that ARC Raiders peaked at about 355,000 players on November 2nd, making it one of the most popular games on Steam at that time.
