Arc Raiders has always been a standout shooter thanks to its beautiful, ever-changing environments and intense gameplay. Each match feels unique, and your choices really matter. The game rewards smart thinking and skillful play, making it truly engaging. This is why players are so dedicated, and why it continues to be popular months after it launched.
Recently, the game has been losing its appeal. Long-time players notice matches aren’t as exciting as they used to be, and there’s a constant feeling that something’s off. The intense thrills, smart tactics, and high stakes that made Arc Raiders so captivating are being ruined, primarily by cheaters.
The Growing List of Exploits Plaguing Arc Raiders
Arc Raiders is currently facing a serious problem with cheaters. Players are using programs, like aimbots, that automatically target and eliminate opponents with incredible accuracy, even through walls. This makes it incredibly difficult for legitimate players to compete, turning what should be exciting battles into frustrating experiences where skill doesn’t matter.
Cheats like wallhacks and radar tools are letting players see opponents and valuable items even through walls and other obstacles, making the game’s exploration feel pointless and removing the excitement of discovery. Some cheaters go even further, modifying the game to eliminate shadows completely and drastically increase how much they can see on the screen. This gives them an unfair advantage, allowing them to spot players and movements that should be hidden, and turning every fight into an easy win.
Exploiting the game through automated scripts, often called ‘macro abuse,’ is a major problem. Players are using these scripts to fire weapons perfectly and quickly switch between guns, creating combinations that are impossible for a human to do. This gives cheaters an unfair advantage, letting them overwhelm legitimate players and turning challenging, skill-based fights into frustrating experiences.
Exploits allowing players to walk through walls and skip parts of maps are creating a lot of problems. These glitches let players reach unintended areas – like rooftops and hidden spots – and use them to ambush others. This is especially dangerous because players using these exploits can often shoot through walls while their opponents can’t defend themselves. Many players are reporting this issue frequently on the Stella Montis map.

Problems are made worse by players finding ways to unfairly get loot and complete missions. Bugs in the game let players skip obstacles and instantly claim rewards that should be difficult to obtain. The constant stream of new exploits, and how quickly they appear after fixes are released, indicates deep-rooted issues within the game’s code, not just occasional errors. It feels like fixing one problem just reveals another, often even more serious one.
Why Widespread Cheating Threatens Arc Raiders’ Future

Cheating destroys trust in the game itself. When players lose or fail, they start to wonder if it was due to someone unfairly using hacks, automated programs, or modified game files, rather than skill. This makes winning feel meaningless and takes away the joy of achieving progress legitimately.
Players are noticing a big problem with cheaters. Streamers, dedicated players, and important community members are speaking out about how common these exploits have become. These disruptions don’t just ruin individual games, they take away the enjoyment of playing. It’s incredibly frustrating to be defeated by a cheater and lose your hard-earned items.
If cheating isn’t stopped, Arc Raiders could slowly lose players. People will play less, stop trusting each other, and discourage others from joining. The game has a lot of potential, but ongoing cheating could seriously harm its reputation. The developers are working on solutions, but they need to address these issues quickly to avoid long-term damage to the game.
