In ARC Raiders, grenades make quickly destroying Bastions pretty easy. But what if you want to take them down without using any?
Most players know that Blaze Grenades and Wolfpacks are incredibly effective against ARCs, taking them down quickly. However, not everyone has a large supply of these items, or perhaps they simply prefer not to use them – and that’s perfectly okay!
No matter your reasoning here, we’ll help you quickly kill Bastions without using any grenades!
How to Kill Bastions Fast Without Any Grenades | ARC Raiders
Let’s start with your gear. We suggest using the Ferro and the Torrente together. While upgrading them will help, it’s not essential.
Surprisingly, you’ll begin with the Torrente. Mastering it will let you quickly destroy the fuel tank on the back of the Bastion. Make sure you have a lot of ammunition for the Torrente!
You can see the gas tank in the image. It’s a bright yellow tank located on the back of the Bastion, making it easily visible even from far away.
The strategy is straightforward: locate a Bastion and carefully move behind it. Then, use Torrente to concentrate your attacks on its gas tank. Don’t forget to crouch while shooting to improve accuracy!
The Torrente deals enough damage to quickly destroy the Bastion’s gas tank. This instantly eliminates the Bastion, which is a faster strategy than trying to damage its legs.
While it sounds simple, this can be tricky to pull off. Make sure to stay hidden and use your surroundings for protection. Having teammates definitely helps, as they can draw the Bastion’s attention, giving you a chance to attack it from behind.
We suggest practicing this strategy in the tunnels near the Headhouse on the Blue Gate map. You’ll often find a Bastion there, and there’s lots of cover to help you move around and attack it from behind.
Here’s a quick way to take down Bastions in ARC Raiders without relying on grenades. While using Blaze Grenades or Wolfpacks is usually faster and simpler, this method is a good alternative if you want to conserve those resources.
