In ARC Raiders, the “Into the Fray” quest tasks you with defeating a Leaper enemy and then collecting the Leaper Pulse Unit it drops.
So, you’ll need to figure out where Leapers are located and how to defeat them safely. Be warned, though – this area can be quite hazardous if you aren’t ready for it.
In this quick guide, we’ll tell you where to find and easily kill a Leaper.
How to Defeat the Leaper for the “Into the Fray” Quest | ARC Raiders
Finding a Leaper is the first challenge – and you can often find one in the Dam Battlegrounds. Check the area a little west of the Primary Facility; they usually patrol there.
Before you head out, be prepared! You’ll need the right gear to defeat the Leaper. Specifically, bring a weapon with strong ARC Armor Penetration – something like the Ferro or the Anvil is essential.
Seriously, don’t skimp on the ammo for your weapon – you’re gonna need a lot! And trust me, grenades are super helpful too. If you’ve got ’em, Blaze Grenades are the best for taking down that Leaper, they really do the most damage.
Ignoring that for now, your goal is to find the Leaper in the area and get it to follow you inside a small building or bunker. As we explained in our guide to dealing with all ARCs, Leapers can’t attack you if you’re sheltered in a structure they can’t fit into!
Okay, so once you get everything set up, it’s actually pretty simple. You basically just try to shoot at the Leaper while staying hidden. If it tries to run, that’s your chance to quickly attack, but always make sure to get back inside where you’re safe afterwards. It’s all about hit-and-run, really!
You’ll eventually defeat the Leaper. When you do, be sure to collect the Leaper Pulse Unit from its main body. We suggest storing it in your Safe Pocket, as you’ll need it to complete the quest!
Head back to Shani and let her know you defeated the Leaper and delivered the Leaper Pulse Unit. This will finish the “Into the Fray” quest in ARC Raiders.
