ARC Raiders Players Will Get Back Items Lost From Recent Outage After Studio Investigates Cases

Embark Studios is aware that some players in the latest ARC Raiders update have reported losing gear after successfully completing missions. They’re currently reviewing these reports individually and plan to restore any lost items within the next few days.

The studio generally doesn’t offer refunds for these types of issues, but because so many players experienced problems with last week’s outages, they’re making a one-time exception and will provide compensation.

We had server problems last week that unfortunately caused some players to lose their customized gear, even after completing missions successfully. We’re looking into these lost items now and will restore them whenever we can over the next few days. We don’t usually offer replacements for lost items, but because so many players were affected by this issue, we’re making an exception. Thank you for your patience while we fixed things.

This update includes some new cosmetic items – the Devotee Outfit and two new hairstyles. It mainly addresses bug fixes and exploits, resolving issues like a glitch with Ziplines and Blue Gate, and reducing how often lightning appears during Electromagnetic Storms.

Just last week, the developers of ARC Raiders released a small update to address a serious security flaw. The issue, discovered by engineer Timothy Meadows, allowed private Discord messages to be exposed in unencrypted game files. Embark Studios confirmed the fix on their official Discord server.

The studio confirmed that your private data remained on your computer and was not accessed or stored by Embark. They are turning off Discord logging and investigating the issue further to prevent it from happening again.

I was really excited about the ARC Raiders update they dropped in February, Shrouded Sky! It added this awesome new map condition called the Hurricane, and it totally changes how you play. Basically, huge winds kick up, making it super hard to see and move around, which is tricky but also cool if you want to try sneaking up on people. The downside? Players exploring the Hurricane map in ARC Raiders have discovered something intriguing that could suggest upcoming content. When the Hurricane condition is active, strange shapes appear in the sky. Community members have been sharing screenshots and believe these aren’t just random objects – they seem to form the outline of one large, unidentified structure, not multiple smaller ones.
