Struggling with the ‘Tribute to Toledo’ quest in ARC Raiders? You’ll need a Power Rod to continue. These can be tricky to find, so this guide will show you exactly where to get them, how to use them, and how to finish the quest. We’ll cover reliable methods and the best farming locations.
How to Get the Power Rod
You can reliably obtain a Power Rod by recycling the Snap Hook. This item is a reward for completing the Lost in Transmission quest and will be added to your inventory as soon as you finish it.

If you didn’t complete this quest or accidentally got rid of the Snap Hook, you can still get one by defeating the Queen during the Harvester Event. Recycling the Snap Hook always gives you a Power Rod, which makes it a guaranteed way to finish the Tribute to Toledo quest.
Don’t sell or throw away the Snap Hook before you recycle it, or you won’t receive your Power Rod.
Power Rod Farming
If you want extra Power Rods, there are a few key areas that have a higher drop rate for them:
Dam Battlegrounds Map – Power Generation Complex:
Head to the metal bridge area on the Dam map and go inside the Power Generation Complex. Once inside, turn right two times until you find a room with lots of power circuits and generators. Breaking open these panels gives you a chance to find Power Rods.

Spaceport Map – Underground Tunnels:
Explore the tunnels beneath the Spaceport. You can reach them by ziplining down, just like accessing the Headhouse area on the Blue Gate map. Be prepared for intense combat – these tunnels are full of enemies, including both players and AI robots. If you disable the power circuits on the walls, you have a good chance of finding Power Rods. You can also find some Power Rods, though less frequently, in containers throughout the tunnels.

How to Use Power Rods
In ARC Raiders, some locked doors require Power Rods to open. For instance, near the Power Panels in the Power Generation Complex, you can use a Power Rod to unlock a room full of valuable loot, including rare gear and materials. This shows how useful Power Rods can be.

Once you’ve left that area, keep an eye out for Security Breach Containers. You’ll need the Security Breach Talent to open them, but they frequently hold valuable, high-level items, and there’s a small chance you might even find extra Power Rods.
Turning in the Quest
Once you get the Power Rod, simply having it with you (either equipped or in your inventory) will finish the mission. I recommend storing it in your Safe Pocket so you don’t lose it if you die. When you return to Speranza, hand in the completed quest to Celeste, and she’ll give you some materials as a reward.

Final Thoughts
That completes the Tribute to Toledo quest in ARC Raiders! To get the items you need consistently, recycle your snap hooks. If you want more Power Rods, focus on farming the Dam and Spaceport areas – they unlock rooms with valuable gear, and earning those rods is a straightforward way to get better equipment.
