The Queen in ARC Raiders can be a tough opponent, especially when you first encounter her. She’s large and has a lot of health, so an unprepared fight can quickly lead to defeat. But don’t worry! With the right strategy, positioning, and weapons, you can win. This guide will walk you through everything you need to know to defeat the Queen.
Best Areas to Fight
The Queen shows up only during special in-game events, such as the Harvester events. You might find her near the Red Lakes at Dam Battlegrounds, but it’s a risky place to fight her. There’s very little cover, making it a difficult battle.

I suggest battling the Queen at the Power Generator. This spot is great because it offers different vantage points and cover, letting you fight the boss safely. Where you position yourself during the fight is key to winning.

Here are three options for positioning:
1) Metal Staircase
Go down the metal stairs overlooking the area. This spot offers good protection while letting you keep the Queen in view. Just be ready to dodge her rockets and any debris she throws your way.
2) Rooftop Position
Like the first location, a platform on the roof provides a good vantage point. Being higher up helps you dodge attacks and keep track of her.
3) Interior Balcony
Okay, so I went inside the building nearby and then vaulted out onto this balcony – it gives you a really good view of the Queen and a great angle to shoot from. But heads up, she starts using this laser attack on you from there, and it really hurts. You still gotta dodge the missiles and debris like always. It’s a solid spot, but it basically adds another dangerous attack to what she can do, so be careful!
Queen Weak Spots
To bring the Queen down quickly, aim for her weak points:
- Leg joints (knee-like circular hinges)

- Central eye

- Brain core (reveals after enough damage is done). This is right next to the eye.
To defeat her effectively, everyone on the team should focus their attacks on the same leg. Once you break it, her brain will be exposed. Then, concentrate your fire on the exposed brain to set her on fire and ultimately win the fight.
Queen Abilities
The Queen has only a few major attacks:
The enemy attacks with missiles that break apart into dangerous fragments when they hit. They also have a powerful laser beam that deals significant fire damage, but it only activates if you’re fighting on the balcony.
Fighting from a staircase or rooftop simplifies things – you mainly need to watch out for rockets and flying debris. Where you choose to fight significantly impacts how difficult the battle will be, highlighting just how important positioning is in this scenario.
Weapons & Ammo
The best way to defeat the Queen is with the Hullcracker weapon. Since she has a lot of health, make sure you have plenty of ammo.
Estimated ammo & inventory requirements:

- Hullcracker: 200–250 rounds total
- If you’re running as a group of three, each player should bring 70–100 rounds.
- If using Wolf Packs, expect to spend roughly 20–25 to bring her down. I do recommend using Wolf Packs on the Queen, as she is a very high-tiered enemy, and these are highly efficient at defeating her.
Be prepared for your weapon to take a lot of damage in this fight. It’s a good idea to bring two or three anvils to repair it during the battle. Alternatively, you could bring a backup Hullcracker.
This fight requires a lot of supplies, so careful preparation is key. It’s better to bring too much than to run out of something important.
Queen Loot Overview
Where you loot the Queen matters. She drops two valuable items:
- Magnetic Accelerator (Epic)
- Queen Reactor (Legendary)
Here is what you can expect from the different areas you can loot:
- Looting a leg: 1 Queen Reactor + 1 Magnetic Accelerator

- Looting the center body: Up to 3 Queen Reactors

A Queen enemy can potentially drop as many as nine Queen Reactors. That’s plenty for everyone in your team to share. Even if two teams are fighting over the same Queen, most players can still expect to get at least one.
What To Do With Queen Drops
Here is what you can do with each lootable item:
Queen Reactor
Recycling one gives: a Magnetic Accelerator and a Power Rod
Magnetic Accelerator
This is used to craft the Hullcracker. Here is the recipe for it:
- Magnetic Accelerator
- Heavy Gun Parts
- Exodus Module
Crafting Legendary Weapons
You can obtain the materials needed to create powerful, legendary weapons. However, you’ll first need to reach Gunsmith Level 3. After that, this encounter will unlock two legendary weapon recipes.
Jupiter
A bolt-action sniper rifle specialized for piercing ARC armor. Here is the recipe:
- • 8 Power Rods
- • 20 Processors
- • 1 Queen Reactor
Equalizer
A high-capacity beam rifle is effective against armor and limbs. Here is the recipe for the weapon:
- 8 Power Rods
- Voltage Converter
- 1 Queen Reactor
Okay, so if I’m feeling lazy and don’t want to spend ages scavenging, I can just buy Voltage Converters and Processors straight from Celeste in Speranza. But if I do want to loot, I can break down stuff like Industrial Chargers to get them too.

Final Thoughts
The Queen is a tough boss, but the hardest part is getting ready for the battle. Once you understand where to position yourself in the Power Gen complex, how to attack as a team, and what items you have, the fight becomes much easier. Defeating her is worth the effort, particularly if you want to make powerful, legendary weapons.
So, prepare your route and inventory, and get to work.
