In ARC Raiders, many skills can help you gain an edge, but Security Breach is particularly useful. You unlock it by investing 36 points in the Survival skill tree. Once unlocked, you can open all the Security Lockers found on each map without needing to pay, making it a great way to find powerful weapons, gear, and Blueprints.
Okay, so if you’ve unlocked Security Breaching – and you probably have – combining it with field crafting is a game changer. It lets me head into raids with nothing and come out loaded with awesome new gear! Since I don’t need keys for Security Lockers anymore, I always bring looting Augments. It’s a super safe way to snag high-rarity materials and Blueprints without worrying about someone else grabbing them first.
Dam Battlegrounds Security Breach Locations
Because the locations of security breaches in Dam Battlegrounds change with each match, it’s tough to plan a fixed route between them. However, this also means you’ll usually be near at least one breach, no matter where you start on the map.
The Control Tower and Research & Administration building is the best place to quickly collect multiple Security Breaches and extra loadouts, but be aware it’s also the most popular – and therefore most fought-over – location on the map.
Because other players often avoid this area due to the difficult lock, it’s best to check it either at the very beginning or end of a round. While the second Security Breach in the Control Tower needs a key, it offers a greater chance of finding valuable Blueprints.
Buried City Security Breach Locations
Despite having slightly fewer security systems than the Spaceport, the Buried City is actually easier to quickly collect loot from due to its small size and closely packed lockers. However, this area’s many hidden rooms and valuable homes have made it a popular spot for players to grab cash, so you’ll likely need to cooperate with or compete against others to get everything.
Most of the hidden containers in Security Breach are found in typical places like under stairs or in side rooms. However, two are trickier to get to. One is on top of the Hospital building and requires using a Zipline to reach, and the other is hidden behind a locked door in the northern part of the Grandioso Apartments.
Spaceport Security Breach Locations
The map in ARC Raiders with the most Security Breach containers is ripe for valuable rewards. You’ll find a total of 10 containers along a direct path on the left side. This route also leads through areas with high-value loot, offering a good balance of risk and reward.
A big advantage of the Spaceport Security Breaches is that most don’t require keys to open, letting you collect loot without spending resources on access cards. The containers at location 4 are particularly good because they can sometimes spawn two at once, making them a great spot to check out after taking the elevator to the top of the watchtower.
Since these watchtowers are so visible, I suggest being quiet while you’re up there. Try to minimize noise when shooting at nearby enemies or scavenging, as it could draw unwanted attention from other players.
Blue Gate Security Breach Locations
Although Blue Gate is a relatively new map in ARC Raiders, it has surprisingly few Security Breach containers compared to others. This makes it a less efficient place to farm only for these containers. However, the containers that are there are still worth collecting when you’re exploring.
You can often find two of the Number 3 Security Breaches in the area accessed by the zipline at Reinforced Reception. This area also contains a hidden room with valuable rewards. While looking for these breaches, be sure to check the other high-value locations nearby for materials to upgrade your Workshop.
You can find another Security Breach container in the cellar of building number 5 in Raider’s Refuge. To get to it, you’ll need to solve a button puzzle. This puzzle requires you to activate at least four buttons hidden around the church and surrounding area, unlocking access to a valuable, but often overlooked, loot location in ARC Raiders.
