Leveling up your Medical Lab to Level 2 in ARC Raiders can be challenging because it needs some hard-to-find parts. This guide will show you the best places to locate the Rusted Shut Medical Kit, Antiseptic, and the rare Surveyor Vault, helping you spend less time hunting for items and more time building.
Where to Find
The Rusted Shut Medical Kit and Antiseptic are both considered rare medical supplies, so you’ll only find them in specific places. Knowing those locations will make it much easier to find them consistently.
1) Dam — Research & Admin Building
One of the best farming spots is on the Dam map inside the Research & Admin Building.
Here’s how to reach the medical room:
- Head inside and go to the upper floor, above the reception desk.
- Ride the zipline up, turn right, then left.
- Follow the hallway to the end and enter the medical office.
Check containers, cabinets, and shelves to find the Rusted Shut Medical Kit and Antiseptic, if they were dropped during the encounter.
2) Buried City — Hospital
Okay, so if you’re hitting up the Buried City map, the Hospital is a great spot to check out. It’s a huge building with a bunch of floors, and honestly, you really need to be prepared when you go in. Here’s what you gotta do…
- Check every room
- Loot shelves and cabinets
- Search all levels of the building
Finding medical supplies can be challenging, and you might need to explore the area several times to collect everything you need. However, because this location is a hospital, medical items appear more frequently here than in other places.
Where to Find the Surveyor Vault
You can only get the Surveyor Vault by defeating ARC Surveyors. You’ll need to find one, destroy it, and then collect the Vault from its remains.
How to Identify an ARC Surveyor
You can usually find surveyors by looking for a blue light shining down from above. They tend to move quickly and can be difficult to catch, so be prepared to follow them.
Tips for Fighting Surveyors
The best strategy is to use a powerful attack – what we call a ‘Showstopper’ – to immediately stop the Surveyor. This prevents them from escaping and gives you a window to inflict significant damage before they can resume moving.
Surveyor Spawn Locations
If you can’t find what you’re looking for nearby, try checking a different part of the map or moving to a new location. Keep in mind that they don’t always appear, but these areas offer the best chances of finding them:
- Dam Battlegrounds: Hydrodome Complex & Swamp Outpost
Don’t waste time camping at one area, jump between these sites and watch for the blue beam.
Final Thoughts
Okay, so I’m trying to get my Medical Lab to Level 2, and it’s a bit of a grind! I need to find three pretty rare items: a Rusted Shut Medical Kit, some Antiseptic, and a Surveyor Vault. I’ve found the best places to look for the medical stuff are the Research & Admin Medical Room and the Buried City Hospital. The Surveyor Vaults, though, those only drop from hunting ARC Surveyors, which can be tough.
