Arc System Works, along with developers Drecom and SuperNiche – founded by ex-president of Nippon Ichi Software Sohei Niikawa – have unveiled their upcoming Role-Playing Game (RPG), titled Demon’s Night Fever. The game is slated for release in 2026, though the specific platforms have yet to be disclosed.
In today’s Arc System Works Showcase, Niikawa stated that the essence of this new game lies in exploring the dark side. Players will have the freedom to indulge in various forms of mischief and wickedness. Previously, he had created a game which he aims to surpass with this one.
Let me explain the type of game this is—it’s quite extensive—are you prepared? This game is called ‘Enemies, Allies, or Kill, Kill, Kill!’ The more times you die, the stronger your character becomes! It’s also a simulation, speedrunning RPG. It may sound strange, but the game is incredibly unconventional, so I hope you’re intrigued by it.
Today, I didn’t have any game footage to show you, but rest assured that our project has reached the last phase of development. It’s crunch time now! We’re on the verge of launching a game that’s unlike anything you’ve seen before. So, stay tuned and get ready to experience something extraordinary!
